Take what’s left of the fruit bowl and some of leftover ham and turkey, a you’ve got a great family salad in 15 minutes flat. If you are taking the salad to work, keep the dressing separate until you want to eat.
Ingredients :
180g red lettuce
2 riep pears or crisp apples
A good handful of chopped walnuts (or use hazelnuts or pine nuts)
3 slices each turkey and ham
For the dressing
1 small red onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp wine vinegar, any type
2 tbsp clear honey
125g pot low-fat natural yogurt
to make the Easy-To-Make Red Turkey and Ham Salad
- Tip the bag of salad on to a large platter. Quarter core and slice the pears or apples then scatter over the salad leaves with the walnuts.
- Cut the turkey and ham into strips and scatter over the top
- Mix together all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl, then drizzle over the salald just before serving
