Easy-To-Make Red Turkey and Ham Salad

Take what’s left of the fruit bowl and some of leftover ham and turkey, a you’ve got a great family salad in 15 minutes flat. If you are taking the salad to work, keep the dressing separate until you want to eat.Easy-To-Make Red Turkey and Ham Salad

Ingredients :

180g red lettuce

2 riep pears or crisp apples

A good handful of chopped walnuts (or use hazelnuts or pine nuts)

3 slices each turkey and ham

For the dressing

1 small red onion, finely chopped

1 tbsp wine vinegar, any type

2 tbsp clear honey

125g pot low-fat natural yogurt

to make the Easy-To-Make Red Turkey and Ham Salad

  1. Tip the bag of salad on to a large platter. Quarter core and slice the pears or apples then scatter over the salad leaves with the walnuts.
  2. Cut the turkey and ham into strips and scatter over the top
  3. Mix together all the dressing ingredients in a small bowl, then drizzle over the salald just before serving

Takes 15 min / serves 4
